No, we can offer an assessment. However, if you have a certificate, this is always useful for our tutors. Remember, certified levels are generally considered valid for 2 years, though this depends on how frequently you use and practice English in your daily life.

1 / What level of English do I need to participate in group courses? Our courses are designed for intermediate and advanced learners. Our books clubs are for mixed-ability upper intermediate- advanced learners. (B2-C2) Our Current Affairs courses are split into two levels, intermediate (for B1-B2) and advanced (C1-C2). If you are a high-level upper-intermediate (B2) student hoping to progress to C1, you may be able to participate in an advanced class. If you are unsure of your current level or would simply like some advice, please contact us for an assessment.

Being a small business we appreciate as much notice as possible before cancelling or moving lessons. We ask students try to book a week in advance to allow for adequate preparation. Our policy allows you book and cancel lessons up to 48hrs before the lesson start. Cancellations after this time will be charged.

While it's best to try and attend all of your courses, if you need to skip a week, don't worry. Email your tutor for information about what was covered and attend as normal the next week.
